Thinning Hair
Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is the key contributor to most forms of hair loss for men. "Male pattern" baldness accounts for approximately 90% of all hair loss cases.
Over time, DHT builds up around hair follicles, thinning hair and ultimately stopping hair growth. As a result, the follicle constricts and each new hair that cycles through the follicle gets gradually thinner than the previous one.
And then, one day, it shuts down altogether. No more hair growth. Now repeat that with a few thousand follicles and, before you know it, the top of your head is feeling a lot breezier than it used to.
