Angie Phipps, D.O.
Serves as HairClub’s medical advisor and hair restoration surgeon, specializing in both surgical and non-surgical treatments for hair loss in men and women.
Inspired by her father’s experience with hair loss, Dr. Phipps has dedicated her career to restoring hair and confidence for a diverse range of patients. Her father was also her first hair transplant patient. Dr. Phipps appears on the TLC network series Bad Hair Day, where she treats patients with various hair loss conditions.
Dr. Phipps earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marshall University in 1994 and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000. She completed an ENT/Facial Plastic Surgery internship and residency at Botsford General Hospital in 2002, a Family Medicine residency at Suncoast Hospital through 2004, and a fellowship in hair restoration surgery at Ziering Medical in 2005. After three years of full-time practice in medical and surgical hair restoration in Beverly Hills and Las Vegas, Dr. Phipps relocated to Raleigh, NC to continue her hair restoration practice as a surgeon for the Bosley Medical Group, P.C. and became HairClub’s medical advisor in 2019.
Dr. Phipps is a diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS) and a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS).
